Lamar House |

My family and I are currently renting what you call the "Lamar House". I thought that I would contact you with what I've experienced here. I know full well that there are evil things in this world, I've seen / heard too many things like this to not believe. Before I even knew anything about the hauntings, orbs, spirits, or what have you, I knew this house was ... strange. From the moment we set foot on the property, and then actually going inside, something just felt a little odd. I've always been very sensitive about such things, and this house seems to be having a field day with my emotions, especially now that we're actually going to live there. I don't usually see anything, but I do feel things, and sometimes hear them as well. At the present time, I don't feel anything evil, not yet anyway; just mostly really sad, drained, and I sometimes have the overwhelming urge to just scream in frustration. This is out of the blue, and these feelings don't last for very long, thankfully. Usually, these "episodes" are upstairs, especially in the wooden paneled room, the one with the natural finish. This room made quite an impression on me from the start, so I associate it as being the most active place in the house. I also feel a presence in the living room, it was with me just the other day in fact. I was cleaning and humming a religious tune, and suddenly felt like something was behind me. I hummed louder, and the heavy feeling lessened, but when I stopped, I heard someone humming too. It sounded like a child, and I was the only one in the house at the time. There have been other occurrences as well, my sister-in-law has a photo of an orb in the kitchen hovering near the floor, an EVP of what sounds like a ball bouncing in the kitchen, and another photo that looks like something really bright near my feet and legs. Someone mentioned ecto, but I'm not sure. It was taken right after the orb photo, so it might be the orb again. Long story short, I just wanted to make my findings known, and hope they're of some use.
