I didn't see them quite that often before I started this new job but I have been seeing them for a long time now. I mostly see them as male and standing there. Often times, I feel I am being watched and I turn just in time to glimpse one , or I notice what looks like a man coming toward me out of the corner of my eyes and when I look up it vanishes and no one is around at all.

Now, this new job happens to be at St. Bernard's hospital on 3rd shift (couple stories about ghosts there too, but that's for some other time) and sometimes I will be near the entrance from the outside to the basement, but I see many of them in the parking garage too, as that seems to be where I "zone out" into my book when I'm sitting in the ticket booth, and I will notice a huge (amorphous kind of - like that ghost in The Frightening with Michael J. Fox) shadow "flying" over the back wall overlooking the laundry
room.

I don't notice it every time someone dies there, but I have correlated the shadow once to a death although I am not exact on the time.

When I am in the garage, it always seems to be a male with a wide brimmed hat on. like a cowboy hat, although once I have seen a dog, like a HUGE Doberman or greyhound easily 4.5 feet in height and 6 feet in length.

The worst experience I can remember with one has happened within the past 2 months... I noticed one standing in the corner of my room where I sleep,
and it did NOT disappear when I looked directly at it. it stayed  until I reached over and turned on the light, a good  minute at least.

Me actually seeing them might be because I used to be a practitioner, I don't claim to be "psychic", but I have had too many things happen to me to not say that I may have a gift.
