Investigation Number 5132006 The Child Research AsylumCentral Arkansas Number of 35mm picture taken: 47 Number of digital photos taken: 704 Minutes of Audio used: 10 Minutes of Video taken: 300 Number of Positive Photos: 4 Number of False Positive Photos: 34 Number of EVP recorded: 2 Phenomena captured on film: On digital photos orbs at rest and orbs in motion were captured. The 35mm photos revealed nothing and the video cameras revealed the activity of orbs in motion. A new piece of equipment was used on this investigation. The thermal imager revealed the presence of a face on the second floor. We also captured 2 EVPs on the first floor in the old library. Summation: This investigation started on Friday afternoon the 12th of May. I (Alan) was walking through the building making sure that all furniture items were out before turning the building over to the demolition contractor. While on the first floor, I saw a movement to my right and stopped to check it out. As I entered the room a cold chill ran down my back. I left the building soon after and called for a training session for Spirit Seekers to be held the next evening. We had 8 investigators and 12 trainees present for the investigation on the 13th. Very little activity was encountered until we hit the first floor. Violet was the team psychic and she picked up a spirit in the library area. The team sensitive was Melisa. She picked up a spirit named Jacob in a room across the hall from the library. This was the same location that I had encountered activity the day before. Violet and Melisa’s description of their encounter lead me to understand that they had met with the same spirit. The spirit that they described had a nervous disorder. His hand shook. They both described the same hand in the same fashion. He also liked to talk as if he were singing and revealed very little information except that his name was Jacob and he knew his ABC’s. Investigator Larry had been using one of the new pieces of equipment when he saw an image on the screen. He was using a thermal scanner when the shape of a face appeared briefly on the screen. At the end of the investigation I sent everyone outside and I tried to gather some EVP. (Electronic voice phenomenon) I went to each floor to ask questions and hopefully get answers. On the second floor, I started asking questions and after each question I would hear what sounded like a low chime. I tried to locate the noise but each time it would sound as if it were coming from somewhere else. On the first floor I asked my questions but was not able to hear any answers until the next day when I listened to the recordings on the computer. I made the statement; "Hi, My name is Alan," waited a short time then said, "What is your name?" Between this statement and question I picked up a recording that said, "Where’s Larry?" The investigation ended around 10:30 pm and we left the building as we had found it. Investigators signature:
