Phenomena captured on film: During this investigation we found the field to be overgrown and hard to walk in. We always come into an investigation with an open mind knowing that spirits are everywhere. We do things a little different than may be expected in that we bring to bare all tools and disciplines available to the study of the supernatural. That being said we cannot rule out the facts concerning this case. Our scientific approach netted us a very small portion of evidence. We only captured one small piece of evidence on digital cameras. We did not capture any electronic voice phenomenon or EVP during this investigation. We did run into psychic energy while in the building. This energy can be labeled as residual.

Summation: A very small group of four investigators was used on this investigation. The team psychic (Christina) was inserted into the field with the rest of the team at approximately 8 pm . Upon completion of her psychic evaluation she was extracted to be interviewed by me individually. While she was being interviewed the others went around the building taking pictures and various climatic readings. During the interview Christina said she felt the presence of residual energy in the field. It is not uncommon for a medical facility such as a field hospital to be filled with residual energy due to the fact that most people that go to this area are sick or wounded and worried about their well.

Conclusion: Is the Field Hospital near Smackover , Arkansas haunted? We have a grading system that helps us to answer such questions. We graded the evidence as follows; scientific evidence is photos, video, EMF readings, Temperature readings and EVP. On a scale of 0 – 50 we gave the scientific evidence gathered a 25 even though the one piece of evidence gathered was that of what appeared to be well formed orb in motion it was the only evidence gathered. The evidence was there but was weak. Sensory evidence is that of the human five senses and on a scale of 0 – 25 we gave the sensory evidence a 15. Some of the investigators felt that they had been in contact with spirits while walking in the field. One had his coat pulled on and another saw a soldier laying on the ground. The extra sensory evidence is the feelings of the psychic and sensitive. On a scale of 0 – 25 we gave the extra sensory evidence a 10. The team psychic felt that the field was full of residual energy and nothing else. The grand total for this project is 50. The grading system of all evidence gathered tells us that this facility would be classified as a residual haunting. This does not necessarily mean that the field hospital is not haunted but the evidence was not available during our investigation in quantities enough to say the area is haunted.
