Phenomena captured on film: 
Orbs in motion and orbs at rest. The orbs captured were mostly bright and well formed in nature. 

We also photographed the image of a man in the mirror of room 218. There is a picture of what appears to be a woman hovering above the floor in the conservatory and another of what may be a Native American in the same room. 

Most of the phenomena gathered was scattered throughout the hotel but the most convincing was in the Conservatory.

Summation: 
There were seventeen of us on this investigation. Three of those present were psychics or spirit mediums. We met in the Conservatory at 10 o’clock pm to review and check equipment. It was here and at this time that we had our first paranormal experience. 

Lori from Rogers, Arkansas, was standing quietly waiting on her assignment when she felt a tug at her shirttail. At first she thought it was her husband, Ted, trying to scare her. When she turned to tell him to quit, he wasn’t behind her. As a matter of fact no one was behind her. Because of this, we assigned the Conservatory to her and her husband. Their team captured the most compelling evidence of spirit activity that evening. 

The rest were divided into teams of four and were sent to what were considered hot spots of spirit activity. We sent a team to the basement, another team to the second floor and yet another to the area where mental patients were once housed. The psychics and spirit mediums were allowed to roam freely. They were to report back if they picked up any spirit energy. 

All of the teams managed to record some sort of paranormal activity before the evening concluded at 2 o’clock am.

What was most exciting to us was the fact that we managed to pick up some new activity along with the old activity that was been reported many times. The pictures of the spirit and the physical contact in the Conservatory are new to the Crescent. This could be because the Conservatory is not used very often and when it is used it is used for wedding receptions and dinners.

We had some encounters with the spirit world while working throughout the various areas of the Crescent Hotel. Some of the more vivid ones can be seen listed below.

  • An unknown spirit tugs on the shirt of Investigator Lori in the Conservatory as if trying to get her attention.

  • Investigator Angie hears the words "Hey Mom" whispered in her ear while in the Basement.

  • Investigator Elizabeth is welcomed when she enters the Crystal Dinning Room. She had been there years before and while eating in the Dinning Room she saw what appeared to be several people in turn of the century clothing. When she entered the dinning room to prepare her equipment someone or something said, "Welcome back."

  • When Investigator Mary Jo entered room 218, Michaels Room, she was told to "Get out of my room."
