Phenomena captured on film: During this investigation we found enough scientific signs of a haunting to say the Flower Smith is haunted. It was a very clean and dust free building to be so congested. We photographed some orbs of interest but only a few of the orbs captured on a digital photo fit our criteria of being energy orbs. Three of our better pictures were captured in the front part of the shop. They were all different and show various forms of spirit activity. One picture shows a shadow, another picture shows a bright spot and the last shows a distortion as if part of the picture were out of focus. We tried to duplicate the pictures several different ways but could not reproduce any of them. I captured two orbs on video in the back room close to the elevator. They appeared to be chasing one another. In the 62 minutes of video this was the only orb activity captured.  

While attempting to gather EVP (electronic voice phenomenon) a voice could be heard faintly answering questions of Investigator Jason. We had heard the story of a young boy dieing in the doctors office and the voice sounds like that of a young person. This was a very interesting investigation.      

Summation: Due to the fact that the investigation was such a small area we divided the group into three teams of five each. A group of five investigators were used on this investigation. The team psychics were John, Christina and Polly. They all acted as team leaders also. They were inserted into all of the buildings at different times to evaluate them for investigation purposes. The investigation started at 8 pm by inserting the psychics into their assigned buildings. They were allowed to do their walk through independently while the others set up equipment and got ready to go to work. Upon completion of their psychic evaluation they were extracted to be interviewed by me individually. While they were being interviewed the others went around the building taking pictures and various climatic readings. During the interview they all stated that they felt the presence of a child spirit.

Conclusion: Is the Flower Smith of Smackover haunted? We have a grading system that helps us to answer such questions. We graded the evidence as follows; scientific evidence is photos, video, EMF readings, Temperature readings and EVP. On a scale of 0 – 50 we gave the scientific evidence gathered a 35. The evidence was there and it was fairly strong. Sensory evidence is that of the human five senses and on a scale of 0 – 25 we gave the sensory evidence a 10 because of the sightings and feelings of not being alone. The extra sensory evidence is the feelings of the psychic and sensitive. On a scale of 0 – 25 we gave the extra sensory evidence a 15. All of the psychics felt the presence of a child spirit. They were not able to pick up a name or agree on the sex but this is not uncommon. Normally this would rate lower but because all of the psychics were able to feel the same child like presence it is rated a little higher. The grand total for this project is 60. The grading system of all evidence gathered tells us that there is a strong possibility that there is paranormal activity happening in the dark recesses of the Flower Smith in Smackover, Arkansas.
