Investigation Number 06252005 1872 Hempstead County JailNumber of 35mm picture taken: 0 Phenomena captured on film: Orbs in motion and orbs at rest. The orbs captured were mostly bright and well formed in nature. Most of the phenomena gathered was centered in the Monroe Room, the hallway by the stairs and stairway itself. Summation: There were four of us on this investigation. The old jail has been converted into a Bed and Breakfast. We began this investigation around 2230 hours. Our team psychic started by walking about the house to get a feel for the place. While I was preparing to interview Mr. Stephens Violet made strong contact on the second floor in the Monroe Room. She moved on to the Deloney Room where she felt that something very emotional had happened in that room. That maybe a residual haunting of the event remained. Robin was with her taking pictures with the digital camera. I remained downstairs where I finished my Stephens interview. We set up our equipment in the Monroe Room. It was here that we got some photos with the digital camera. The video camera picked up some shadows but we could not verify that they were anything other than shadows. However, while recording with the voice recorder I saw what appeared to be a shadow of a person standing next to Violet. I did not get this on film. Once the equipment was put away for the evening and all had retired to their assigned rooms, the spirit activity increased. I, Alan, stayed in the Deloney Room where I had a restless night. I was up and down all night with a headache that would not go away. I also kept feeling what felt like fingers on my arm, neck and face. The fingers were not placed on my person in a menacing way but rather a playful way. When Violet had visited this room she had gotten a headache also. Once we left the room the headaches went away. Violet stayed in the Monroe Room. She said she slept well but felt as if
there was someone close by all night. Teri, our trainee, stayed in the
Pilkington Room. She said that around 2 pm she fell asleep reading. She was
awakened by someone or something trying to remove her eyeglasses. She was very
frightened by this and went outside to get some air. While on the front porch
one of the three rocking chairs began to rock. Investigators signature: |
