The Lamar house is a privately owned home in Lamar, Arkansas. The house is a lovely old home built before the War Between the States and has its own cemetery behind the house. It is thought that the house may have been used as a hospital in the war and some of the soldiers that received treatment are buried in the cemetery. The owners of the house reported many mysterious activities . Such things as a mist forming in the kitchen, lights burning out prematurely, voices in the children’s bedrooms and a general feeling of uneasiness.

From the minute the investigation team set foot in the house there was an ominous feeling that we all experienced. As the night wore on, the feeling never left us. Our investigation did reveal the presence of several spirits, one or more of them were not the type a person wants to encounter.

Evil spirits are all around us, and one was with us that night in Lamar. Before we left the Lamar House we did what is commonly known as a cleansing. Once this was complete, a feeling of peace prevailed. We have spoken to the owners since that night and they say the feeling of peace remains in the house, but it is another story on the outside. Several mysterious occurrences have been reported in the area surrounding the house.

I was standing behind a video camera when I took this photo. The screen on the video camera started to brighten from the top. This photo shows an orb in the same area that was starting to brighten on the video camera.

I continued to take pictures and this one shows the orb moving away.

Updates

Two photos taken recently at the Lamar House seem to indicate that the spirits are still active.
