The three story tower building remaining on Beaver Lake that has become known as Monte Ne' is really what remains of a luxurious hotel called Oklahoma Row. It was owned and operated by William Hope Harvey, a financial theorist and one time U.S. Presidential nominee. From 1901 until the mid 1930s the area was a health resort and ambitiously planned community. Once a thriving Mecca, it is now an abandoned concrete structure that has a magical draw that brings people from all over Arkansas.

The area on the edge of Beaver Lake that is still referred to as Monte Ne', is owned and managed by the United States Army Corps of Engineers and serves mainly as a boat ramp.

This picture was taken of the building after dark. It looks very spooky after the sun goes down.
