Phenomena captured on film:
Using digital cameras we managed to capture orbs at rest and orbs in motion.
We did not use 35mm cameras on this investigation. With the digital video
cameras we captured nine orbs in motion. We also captured 2 EVP or electronic
voice phenomenon in different locations of the building.
Summation:
There were twelve investigators on this project. We arrived at the building
at 9 pm. At this time we started to set up equipment and the team spirit
sensitives were sent into the area to get a feeling for how the evening would
unfold. This evening the team spirit sensitives would be John, Melisa and
Violet.
While they were in the building, I briefed the remaining team on the protocol
that we would be following on this investigation filled them in on some of the
history of the building. I divided the group into three teams. Once the
sensitives had finished their survey of the property I sent the teams into their
assigned areas to set up the cameras. Each team was assigned a spirit sensitive
to accompany them.
The building is small so we split the team into three teams and sent one to
the small meeting room, one to the large meeting room and the other to the board
room and office area.
As soon as the equipment was set one of the cameras started having minor
malfunctions. The battery was losing its charge rapidly. This is not a common
occurrence and usually indicates a spirit presence. Once the battery problem was
solved, another teams camera started acting oddly. That camera turned off
without any assistance from the owner. Not long after the investigation had
started an investigator had her hair touched. She said it felt like a gentle
puff of wind.
Four investigators were standing at the front desk when they all heard the
boardroom door rattle as if a person were shaking the knob. They tested it to
see if they could make the same thing happen and failed. As they turned to walk
away the door rattled again - only louder. They returned to attempt to make the
door perform in the same way but once again found the door latched soundly.
Before leaving for the evening we went in the building and attempted to
obtain electronic voice phenomenon data. Two different investigators worked in
different areas of the building. They did obtain some minor results in each
area. Both of the EVP obtained were class B in nature. That is, they did
pick up what sounds like a voice but the words are did readily
understandable.
Haunted or not? Haunted.
We weigh our evidence according to the following formula. Three categories:
1) Scientific pictures, audio and instrumentation readings (50%)
2) Sensory Sight, smell, touch, sound and taste (25%) and
3) Extra Sensory Mediums and psychics (25%)
We rate the NDE Building as 40% Scientific, 15% sensory and 20% Extra Sensory
for a total of 75/100. The data
gathered does indicate a minor haunting.
We ended the investigation late and left the building in the same condition
it was found.
