Rialto Theater

The Rialto Theater was built in 1929. It is one of the last “movie palace” style theaters in Arkansas. Notable for its grandeur, size and Art Deco architecture, the Rialto was added to the National Register of Historic places in 1986. Employees and maintenance workers have often reported strange experiences in the building, including unexplained shadows, whispering voices and the fleeting scent of a woman’s perfume.

It is more of a noise than a voice. Sounds kind of like a frog.

This EVP was captured as we were leaving the theater for the morning.
It was in the back row of seats in the main gallery.
You can hear a scratching sound followed by a voice then another scratching sound.

Outside the Theater a group of onlookers gather. Notice the blur to the left and over the truck. This could be ectoplasm or maybe not. There is no readily available explanation for the appearance of this smoky blur.
