Phenomena
captured on film: There were many
pictures of orbs caught this night, while most are clearly natural (bugs, dust,
pollen) some are more interesting and need further review. We set up two video
cameras which ran for one hour each and captured no phenomenon. We started the
investigation at 8pm and took 502 pictures in and outside of the house, about 10
pm we set up the video cameras and let them run as May and Melissa went to a
local cemetery down the road. While they were gone, we took EVP inside the house
all came up negative.
Summation:
A group of seven investigators were used on this investigation. The team
psychic for this investigation was May DuVall with Melisa McGehee acting as the
spirit Sensative. They were allowed to enter the house at 8 pm to do their walk
through. Upon completion of their psychic evaluation they were extracted to be
interviewed. Then the rest of the team went in to start the investigation. While
they were in the house I (Jason) interviewed the psychics separately. They each
reported that they felt like there was some minor residual energy in the house
but could not pin down an exact source of the energy. By 10 pm we were ready to
set the video cameras in key locations and leave them running while most of the
team went to the cemetery located across from the house. While they were gone
the remaining investigators attempted to gather electronic voice phenomenon or
EVP.
Upon completion of the investigation we gathered our equipment
and left the house as we had found it. The evidence was reviewed and little or
no scientific evidence could be found. The psychic and the spirit sensitive did
have a small sensory encounter. They were in the back room at different times
when the door rattled as if someone was trying to open it. Investigator Melisa
heard a female voice in one of the back rooms. She said it sounded as if it were
an older lady trying to communicate with her but she could not make out what was
being said.
Conclusion:
The private residence that we will call the Waveland House was a very
interesting investigation. Is it haunted haunted? We have a grading system that
helps us to answer such questions. We graded the Waveland House as follows;
Scientific evidence on a scale of 0 – 50 we gave it a 20, Sensory evidence on a
scale of 0 – 25 we gave it a 15 and extra sensory evidence on a scale of 0 – 25
we gave it a 10 for a grand total of 45. So is haunted haunted, doubtful. It
definitely has some things going on that could be of a paranormal nature but the
night we spent at the Waveland House was not a productive one.
