Arkansans Turn Up on Small Screen

GHOST STORY:

Last January, Paper Trails told readers of a central Arkansas ghostbusting group to be featured on a national TV show this fall. Now, an air date has been set.

Angela and Alan Lowe of Little Rock, founders of Spirit Seekers Paranormal Investigation Research and Intervention Team (SPIRIT or Spirit Seekers of Arkansas) will be featured in a cleansing of the Shea family’s antebellum home in Lamar. The Sept. 21 episode of the Discovery Channel’s A Haunting is titled “Where Evil Lurks” and was filmed last December and January.

The trouble? According the episode description: The family attributes the playful paranormal activity to the spirit of a young boy who died in the home. But, when one of the Shea children suffers a devastating injury, the family enlists psychic mediums to rid the home of any evil residing there.
