Ghosts for Halloween and Beyond
Haunting Photos in New Book:

GHOSTS FROM COAST TO COAST

Documented and extraordinary, the photographs in Ghosts From Coast to Coast were not taken by bumbling ghostbusters à la Aykroyd and Murray. Some of America’s best ghost investigators, like members of The Spirit Seekers (Spirit Seekers Paranormal Investigation Research & Intervention Team) , South Jersey Ghost Research and the American Ghost Society (Oklahoma) contributed to the new release from Golden West Publishers (available at www.GoldenWestPublishers.com, $19.95).

Ghosts Coast to Coast was compiled by Kalyomi, pseudonym of an author, who prefers to instill its focus on those ghost investigating groups who contributed evidence of their encounters. This allows several members from each group, together or solo, to hold book signings, attend events and make media appearances, providing a continuum of insights, pictures and experiences. Investigations require countless hours, usually at researchers’ own expense, attempting to observe and understand another realm.

Carrying electronic magnetic field (EMF) meters, tape recorders, and never without a camera, researchers visit infamous haunted houses and other locations of reported sightings. Among these are the Bird Cage Theater (Tombstone, Ariz.), LaLaurie House (New Orleans), and the Waverly Hills Sanatorium (Louisville, Ky.). Sightings include full figure ghosts in period dress, mists, silhouettes, and orbs of light.

Eerie images of apparitions caught on film, float next to investigators. A narration by the investigator on the scene, or commentary by a member of the group accompanies each photograph. Example: “The Millers knew that the Double Butte Cemetery in Tempe, Arizona, was haunted when they arrived to take some photographs. The cemetery has a reputation for its release of EVPs and apparition sightings. Kaylen and her husband, Thom, were looking at the children’s graves when Kaylen photographed this small boy watching them. The second child is sitting on a gravestone. The Millers are the directors of the Arizona Ghost Trackers.” The children were not visible to the photographer when the photo was taken.

Golden West Publishers incorporated in 1974 and published their first ghost book in 1991.
